Nordic Week wraps on a high note—literally! Join us for the Nordic Week Jazz Festival, a night of musical fusion and cultural exchange between top Nordic and Tanzanian artists. Set in the lush garden of the Swedish Residence, this finale is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of creative collaboration.

From Sweden to Tanzania, jazz meets tradition in an unforgettable lineup featuring Denmark’s award-winning pianist Carl Winther, Sweden’s genre-defying producer Marcus Price with jazz saxophonist Isak Hedtjärn, and homegrown talent Turunesh and Damian Soul. The result? A cross-cultural jam session like no other.

Leading up to the event, Nordic and Tanzanian artists connect through workshops and creative hangouts hosted at Nafasi Art Space. These spaces are not just for tuning instruments, but for tuning ideas, stories, and visions. Expect powerful performances, spontaneous improvisations, and a blend of Swedish folk, Tanzanian rhythm, and modern jazz.
